Theyyam festival, Kaliyattam, at Theruvath Arayil Bhagavathisthanam.
The ritual folk art theyyam is conducted here from 02-03 Nov 2015. Preliminary performances like Thottam/Vellattam etc are held in the late evening on the first day. Theyyams are then staged from next day morning – Padaveeran (5am), Vishnumoorthy (10am), Chooliyaar Bhagavathy (1pm), Muvalamkuzhi chamundi (3pm, amd Gulikan (6pm). Location / Access: The temple is at Theruvath, Theruvath, about 500m from New Bus stand at Alamippalli, Kanhangad towards east. (Vazhunnoridam route)
