#Kutiyattam / #Koodiyattam is the #Sanskrit #theatre tradition of #India, but now exists only in #Kerala. #UNESCO has recognised it as an #Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The supporting instruments are #Mizhavu, #Edakka (both percussion instruments) and #Kuzhithalam (tiny #cymbals). #Costuming and #facial make up are very #intricate and #colourful.
